Oakwood Cellars Wines All the grapes that made these award winning wines came from the Crawford Vineyard in Prosser, Washington Except for the Estate Riesling which is grown on the Oakwood Cellars grounds. LEMBERGER-
A medium- to fuller-bodied red wine with lots of zest! It’s well rounded fruit and spicy flavors gives host to an
array of foods it will pair with.
Aged in American & French oak barrels up to 24 months. Any of the pasta/cheesy dishes, turkey, barbecued meats,
lamb, veal, chicken in red sauce, chocolate desserts & more. SYRAH-
A softer styled medium-bodied Syrah with nice cherry overtones and
smooth oak finish. Aged
for 28 months in American & French oak barrels.
Served great with barbecued foods, cheese burgers, pork,
cheeses & desserts. MERLOT-
A
lush red wine with great berry & fruit overtones.
The oak balance makes this red wine a real sipper but, of
course, will pair with prime rib, barbecued meats, pasta dishes,
duck, pork and wonderful chocolate desserts.
(The winemaker's favorite). CABERNET
SAUVIGNON- A full-bodied red wine with great fruit & oak overtones.
Aged for 36 months in American & French oak barrels,
making this wine a keeper. This
wine will enhance any steak dish, barbecued meats, spaghetti,
roasts, and not to mention any chocolate dessert. LEMBERGER
BLANC- Oakwood’s
one-of-a-kind wine made 100% from the red grape.
It’s light tropical fruity aromas and flavors will match
great with spicy hot food to soups, salads, seafood, salmon, smoked
fish, cheeses to desserts or just a movie and popcorn.
1.8% residual sugar on the finish. ESTATE RIESLING- A not-so-sweet white wine not just for desserts. It’s crisp apple/pear like finish makes this a sipper or food wine. Pairs great with fish & chicken dishes, soups, salads, cheeses, turkey and yes - desserts. 1% residual sugar on the finish. |
